Patchwork Road
Patchwork Road
Patchwork Road is a road that runs across the hills in the northern side of Biei, Hokkaido. It has a view that is reminiscent of an European pastoral landscape, and has many tourist spots nearby. You can enjoy various views here, such as Zerubu no Oka, the hill with many beautiful flowers such as lavenders, sunflowers, and poppies. You can also find the Seven Stars Tree, the tree that was shot photographed for the Seven Stars cigarette package. The area around this tree is also famous for offering a beautiful view of the sunset. The Ken and Merry Trees are also famous trees that became a topic of conversation for appearing in a car commercial. Patchwork Road is famous as a driving spot, but going around this place with a rental bicycle is also recommended. It is very refreshing to run through a road without any obstacles.
