Oshin Koshin Falls
Oshin Koshin Falls locates at the mouth of the Charasenai River on the Shiretoko Peninsula in northeastern Hokkaido. The cliff of the falls measure 70 meters high, and the waters split into two from the middle of the falls. At the top of the waterfall is an observation deck, where you can see the Okhotsk Sea, the Shiretoko Mountain Range and more. In the winter, you can see glaciers drifting on the sea. About 6 kilometers away from the falls, you will reach the Road Station Michinoeki Utoro / Shirietoku. Here, you can gain useful tourist information and stop by for some delicious local meals. One local dish that can be enjoyed here that cannot be seen in most other parts of Japan is the venison burger.
