Ginga and Ryusei Falls

Ginga and Ryusei Falls locates in Sounkyo Gorge in Hokkaido’s town of Kamikawa. While Ginga Falls is quiet and delicate, Ryusei Falls is loud and powerful.
The falls are located on a long cliff with an excelleng view. The narrower the cliff gets, the stronger the waterfalls become.
Near the two waterfalls, you can find the Sounkyo Ropeway, which operates year-round. The ropeway gets you to Mount Kurodake’s seventh station, which measures 1,984 meters high. Even during the summer, the mountain is capped with snow.
