Before moving onto the next spot, I want to show you some photoshoot locations. There are many illumination spots for taking memorable, fantastic photos in Reoma Resort!

Recommended Photo Spot① Boat Pier of Lakeboard Dixie Queen

Recommended Photo Spots at Reoma Light World

Photo spot: Beautiful reflection of light on the lake

In front of the boat pier is one of the best photo locations! By riding a boat, you can enjoy scenery from the lake too. At this spot, you can see an illuminated bridge, a big ferris wheel and the “Bird Flyer” ride all at the same time! The best shooting moment is when Bird Flyer goes high up in the sky.

Recommended Photo Spot② Water Stage

Water Stage

You can view 3 attractions all at the same time

There’s a secret spot for great photos that’s not even posted in the Park pamphlet! Here, you can take a great shot of the train, the Kindergarten Railroad, crossing the bridge. I highly recommend you also board this train, because the train itself will be illuminated as it runs through the Woods of Light!

Recommended Photo Spot ③ Twinkle Harmoney

Twinkle Harmoney

9 Patterns of lighting

I strolled around the Park, and returned to Gokko Town where the big illuminated tree is Here, You will find the bell, Twinkle Harmony, which is highly recommended for couples. By ringing this bell with your loved one, you can create lighting patterns and sparkles around the bell. in one of 9 patterns of lighting. If you get the light pattern that concentrates around the bell, rumor says your wishes will come true!

What’s in the Oriental Trip area?

After leaving the attractions, I visited the Oriental Trip area, where I found replicas of Angkor Dynasty temples and Middle-Eastern mosques.

These exotic buildings become even more beautiful when they are illuminated at night.
It’s a 15-minute walk from the Park entrance, to Oriental Trip.  If there are small children in your travel group or you don’t have enough time for the walk, it may be a good idea to keep this place in mind for next time.

Light Tunnel, ‘Magic Straw’

The Light Tunnel is the longest escalator in Japan! It takes 3 minutes and 14 seconds from the start to finish!

The accessway to Oriental Trip is the longest escalator in Japan, also called the Magic Straw. It’s a whole 3-minute ride to the exotic Oriental Trip area, so sit back and enjoy the ride.
*Note: To enter into the Oriental Trip, you will require a ticket, known as “Wide”.

Illuminated Temple and Monastery

The picture on the right shows Prasat Hin Arun, a replica of a temple from the Angkor Dynasty, and the picture on the left shows a replica of Taschichho Dzong, a monastery from the Bhutan Dynasty. Viewing these architectures when lit up at night is a much more exotic experience than during the day!

Time:6:30~8:30pm, daily(Duration: 6 mintues /30 minutes interval ※Show starts at 7pm/7:30pm/8pm only on March 1, 2020)

One of the best features in Oriental Trip is the 3D projection mapping, Legend Palace, where you will be surrounded by 360 degrees of light! This technology is introduced for the first time in western Japan. The best spot for shooting pictures is the right back side of the temple. This way, you can capture 2 lightened architectures in your background.

Illumination, created with a wish to make visitors truly happy!

To the local people of Kagawa, including myself, Reoma Resort is a community-based theme park that we visited for our school field trips, and take our own kids to as adults. It’s a very well-loved theme park to the locals.

The Reoma Resort is the 5th largest theme park in Japan, that fully utilizes its land to create an enjoyable experience for all visitors.
I felt the passionate drive of the staff members to make visitors happy.
If you plan a trip to Kagawa in winter, illumination of Reoma Resort is a must-see, without any doubt!
