Sagamihara Asamizo Park locates in northern Kanagawa. Here, visitors can play with animals whilst being surrounded by beautiful flowers. At the petting zoo, there are rare animals such as meerkats and tarsiers. You can also ride on ponies, have fun with guinea pigs and more. In May, around 230 types of Clematis flowers deck the park grounds, and in June, hydrangeas decorate the park. Right where the giant garden is, there is a clock that strikes a lovely sound every hour. From the park observatory, called Green Tower Sagamihara, you can get a view of the park and the city of Sagamihara. On clear days, you can see as far as Yokohama and Shonan.
