"Mt. Hoshu Daikannon Temple" is located in Tsu City, the Northern part of Mie prefecture. The temple is dedicated to a Bodhisattvaa called "Junkin Kaiun Hoshu Daikannon Bosatsu" which is made of pure gold. It is one of the most popular spots for sightseeing as a unique temple that has many mysterious things to bring us good luck. Daikannon Temple was established in 1982, and on the year after that, the head temple of a Shingon sect Yamashina recognized it as a special head temple. The principal image is 33 meters high and that is because Kannon rescues people while mutating itself into 33 different forms. Besides, there are a lot of other things such as "Otakara Kaeru", which is a group of orchestra frogs, and also the "Karaoke Kannon" with a wireless microphone. These special features will definitely entertain you. Around the temple, there are also Louvre Museum of Sculptures that displays over 1,300 reprints of world-famous artworks.
