Standing along Hokusai Street, at a 15-second walk away from Sumida Hokusai Museum, ORI TOKYO is a cafe that has a reproduction of the ”Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji" made of textile. The place also has exhibitions and goods available for sale. The textile reproduction of the famous art work is made with the Jacquard weave method, in which many colored threads are intricately woven. The store is impressive for its modern Japanese design with white fir that has a warm wooden feel. A design themed with vertical and horizontal weaving threads are rendered all over including the coffed ceiling with the store's logo and the checkered pattern on the eaves at the entrance. In addition, the cafe's menu items are all delicacies. The café offers exquisite desserts and coffee with suitable ingredients purchased from all over Japan and abroad. It's coffee is brewed with a siphon with beans purchased from Karuizawa, Nagano Prefecture. The cafe also offers collaboration menu items according to temporary exhibitions at Sumida Hokusai Museum.
