Yufuin Chagall Museum

Yufuin Chagall Museum (Marc Chagall Yufuin Kinrinko Museum) located in Yufu City, Oita Prefecture, exhibits artworks by the French artist Marc Chagall, known as the "Painter of Love".
The museum's collection is centered on the lithograph artworks by Chagall. The works show Chagall's vibrant choices of colors, and a particular somber yet mystical worldview that is characteristic of his paintings.
Inside the museum there is a cafe terrace named CAFE LA RUCHE. The terrace seats here have a full view of Kinrinko Lake, and the menu offers home-made breads and cakes that are perfect for a fancy breakfast, or afternoon tea.
