The Mastumoto City Timepiece Museum locates about a 10-minute walk from Matsumoto Station. 110 clocks are displayed in their exhibition, including the biggest pendulum clock in japan. The museum was founded by Honda Chikazo, who researched clocks and engineered some himself. He collected these clocks throughout his lifetime, and donated it to the city of Matsumoto. The museum opened in 2002, with additional clocks donated from the people of the city.
