Shinshu Takato Museum
The Shinshu Takato Museum is located in Nagano prefecture’s castle town of Takato. It opened in 1992, and features around 1,200 works of art collected by artist Harada Masao, who was a Takato native. All works are related to the town of Takato. Aside from the permanent exhibit, the museum hosts special exhibits a few times a year. They also hold concerts, art classes and exhibitions of local student’s artworks. After enjoying your time at the museum, you can have some coffee at the museum café “Palette”.
