Yokohama Landmark Tower
Yokohama Landmark Tower
The "Yokohama Landmark Tower" is located in Minatomirai along the Yokohama Port. In 1993, the dockyard became a compound building, which includes a shopping mall, offices, and a hotel. The 70 floored, 296 meter tall building has become a symbolic landmark for all of its famous features. At the bottom of the tower, there is also a designated important cultural property, the "Dockyard Garden". Today, Japan's oldest shipping dock is used as an event space. You can enjoy a superb view from the observatory deck, "Sky Garden", on the 69th floor. If the weather permits, you can also see the Boso Peninsula and Mt. Fuji. Watching the sunset and staying for the night view is also recommended.
