Hakone Glass no Mori Venetian Glass Museum
Hakone Glass no Mori Venetian Glass Museum
The Hakone Glass no Mori Venetian Glass Museum locates in the Sengokubara area of Hakone, Kanagawa. At the museum are 80 works of Venetian glass, which was immensely popular between the 15th and 18th century with European aristocrats. Even in the museum garden, you can find art made of glass here and there. The glass arch in the garden glimmers in the sunlight, and makes you feel as if you’re in a fairytale. The garden is filled with seasonal plants too, like roses, hydrangeas and maples. At the Experience Workshop, you can make your own glass artwork. Take it home with you as a one-of-a-kind souvenir!
