Mount Chausu

Mount Chasu locates in the Nasu district of Tochigi prefecture. It is the peak of the Mount Nasu range, and measures 1,915 meters high. The mountain is an active volcano, and you can see the smoke puffing out of the peak. You can hike your way up the mountain, or take the ropeway from the foot of the mountain to the peak. Either way, you will be greeted with some breathtaking views. With azaleas in the spring, fresh greenery in the summer, fall foliage in the autumn and a snow-capped peak in the winter, every season is absolutely stunning at Mount Chausu.
