Kuzuryu Shrine locates in the town of Hakone in Kanagawa prefecture. It is said that a dragon living in Lake Ashinoko surrendered and then became enshrined here. Today, the shrine is known to bring luck in matchmaking. Every 13th of the month, the tradition of Tsukinamisai is held, where the shrine’s monk offers items such as rice and sake to the deities of Lake Ashinoko. Right next to Kuzuryu Shrine is Hakone Shrine, which is said to bring luck in matchmaking. It is said that visiting these two shrines together will bring you even more luck.
