Ashinomaki Onsen in the fall

Ashinomaki Onsen locates in the southern part of Aizuwakamatsu in Fukushima prefecture. The hot springs of Ashinomaki have a long history, and was once coined as the “phantom springs”, since it was inaccessible to many. At the onsen town, you can purchase a yumeguri-tegata ticket for \1,000. This allows you to go to any three baths. Before or after your bath, you can visit Kagayaki Park, where you can enjoy nature and a free footbath. The surrounding area is filled with nature. The fall foliage near the Tonohetsuri Bridge is especially beautiful. In the winter, you can enjoy the many ski slopes of the area.
