Kawayu Onsen

Kawayu Onsen locates in the town of Teshikaga in eastern Hokkaido. The waters are 100% directly from its source, which is rare in Japan.
The waters of Kawayu Onsen are high in acidity. It provides moisture whilst killing off bacteria on your skin. The baths at Kawayu Onsen have been long used as a medical bath.

The hot spring town of Kawayu Onsen has a river flowing through it. Alongside the river, there are about 20 hotels and ryokan accommodation facilities.
Kawayu Onsen is located inside the grounds of Akan Mashu National Park. In the park, you can find Lake Akan, Lake Mashu and more nature sightseeing spots.
