Shinsen Marsh

Shinsen Marsh locates in western Hokkaido, and is a part of Shinsennuma Marsh Recreational Forest. The marsh locates over 750 meters above sea level, and is considered one of the most beautiful marshes of the area.
Here, you can find many alpine plants and wild birds. Near the swamp, there is a rest house facility with food and souvenirs, and some displays that explain the wildlife in the area. There is also an observatory at the rest house, which allows you to see the entire Kyowa-cho town area and ocean.
