Toan@Kanazawa Pottery Studio and Cafe Gallery

Located in central Ishikawa prefecture is Irie, Kanazawa city where the Toan@Kanazawa Pottery Studio and Cafe Gallery can be found.  Young and up-coming potters  work in this studio that is right in the middle of a residential area. The studio offers regular pottery classes and also trial lessons.  Visitors can choose from the pottery wheel, hand-shaping, and ceramic painting trial lessons to use the 500 grams of clay that they will receive.  The calm atmosphere of the studio makes it easy to focus on creating. There is a gallery showcasing the works of the studio potters and a small café space on the second floor.  Drinks and desserts can be enjoyed from a cup or plate made at the studio by the potters or even the visitors themselves.
