The 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art, Kanazawa was built in 2004 to spread knowledge and information on contemporary art. The museum is divided into two zones, the Exhibition Zone and the Public Zone, which is free to enter.

One of the most famous works at the museum is “The Swimming Pool”, by Leandro Elrich, where you can feel like you are seeing the world from inside a swimming pool. This museum is great for spending a surreal, creative day.
