At Zunda Saryo, you can try variations of zunda-mochi. Zunda-mochi is a traditional food from the Sendai region of Miyagi prefecture.It is a rice cake covered in a sweet edamame bean paste. Zunda Saryo adds a twist to the traditional zunda-mochi, by turning it into a milkshake – the “zunda shake”. In the zunda-shake, you can feel the bits of edamame while tasting the sweet, creamy shake.
