Katayamazu Onsen

Katayamazu Onsen
Katayamazu Onsen, located in the southern part of Ishikawa Prefecture, is one of the hot springs within the Hokuriku Kaga Onsen group. The water in the hot springs comes from Shibayama Lagoon, therefore, it is filled with sodium and calcium. This chloride spring helps improve neuralgic pains and blood circulation. With the aspiration of the 2,702 meter tall Mount Hakusan, the nearby town made their catchphrase, "Lake town with the beautiful Hakusan". Relax your mind and body while looking at the amazing view of nature from a hot spring. In 2012, the hot spring facility, "Kaga Katayamazu Onsen Public Bath" had its grand opening. At this public bath, the view of Shibayama Lagoon connects to the surface of the bath, so it will make you feel as though you were in the lagoon itself! The facility offers two kinds of baths: Lagoon bath and Forest bath.
