Tenen Hiking Course
Tenen Hiking Course
The Tenen Hiking Course is a trail in Kamakura. It connects the three mountains: Mount Tendaisan, Ohira-yama and Mount Jubusen. Though there are many possible routes to the hike, one of the most popular routes is the 2-hour route that connects Kenchoji Temple and Zuisenji Temple. During the hike, you can get a beautiful view of Mount Fuji. Hike in the fall for a lovely fall foliage at Shishimai Valley! Although the altitude of the hiking course is not too high (159 meters), there are some rocky, slippery areas throughout the route. Make sure to hike in comfortable clothes and shoes.
