Tsuta Numa Lake is one of the Seven Tsuta Lakes in Aomori prefecture. The lake locates at the foot of Mount Hakkoda, and is well known for its waters’ incredible clarity. The clear waters serve as a reflective mirror during the fall foliage season, when the surrounding beech trees change into stunning shades of reds and oranges. Around the Seven Tsuta Lakes is a 2.8-kilometer long path that is perfect for a walk. Take your time around the lakes and observe all of the nature and wildlife around you. After your walk, you can visit Tsuta Onsen hot springs and unwind.
