Shiretoko

Shiretoko

Shiretoko Peninsula is known for its beautiful views of drift ice, waterfalls, lakes, and mountains. At the peninsula, there are fish, such as dog salmon and trout, and predators that eat these fish, including brown bears and sea eagles. For the views of nature and the variety of living organisms, the Shiretoko Peninsula was designated as a world heritage site in 2005. You can also enjoy activities, such as trecking, hiking, canoeing, and kayaking! Shiretoke Peninsula is the only place where visitors can experience the "Drift Ice Walk Tour". After exercising, treat yourself to a meal filled with fresh seafood, such as crab, dog salmon, mackerel, and scallop. To end the day, stay at the hotel that looks over the Okhotsk Ocean.
