Goro's Stone House

Goro’s Stone House locates in the city of Furano in central Hokkaido. This is where the famous Japanese drama, “Kita no Kuni Kara”, was shot. In the story, the main character, Goro, built this stone house and lived there with his family. The house is recognized for its ecological build. The stones are from Mount Furano’s past volcanic activities that were found in a nearby field. Near the house are other “Kita no Kuni Kara” related sites, such as Hirottekita Ie and Rokugo no Mori.
