the Nakameguro Koukashita

The Nakameguro Koukashita is a commercial facility under the railways of Nakameguro Sration in Tokyo. Opened in 2016, the facility utilizes the space under the railways of the Tokyu Toyoko Line and the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line. The entire area extends to about 700 meters long. The concept of the Koukashita is “SHARE”. All stores are designed to be "under one roof". The facility was developed with the aim of "sharing time, space and thoughts". In addition to "Nakameguro Tsutaya Bookstore", there are many stores and bars that are open until late, allowing you to enjoy night life of Nakameguro. Restaurants concentrate in the section near the station. If you walk further back along the Kokashita, you will find the "NAKAME GALLERY STREET". You should be able to make unique discoveries if you explore the Kokashita as you proceed.
At the Meguro River nearby, cherry blossoms bloom beautifully along the river in the spring. The area that extends for about 4 km from the upstream to the downstream of the Meguro Rivevr is famous as a cherry blossom viewing spot in Tokyo. In early April, the "Nakameguro Cherry Blossom Festival" is held and many tourists visit the area.
