Aomori Museum of Art Building Exterior

Aomori Museum of Art

The Aomori Museum of Art locates next to one of Japan’s largest prehistoric village ruins. The exterior of the building is inspired by both prehistoric and modern Japanese arts. The museum carries works by both Japanese and international artists, such as artist Nara Yoshitomo (an Aomori native) and French painter Marc Chagall. Also inside the museum grounds, you can find a café serving dishes using ingredients from Aomori.
