Jomon Jiyukan

Jomon Jiyukan

The Jomon Jiyukan locates by one of Japan’s largest prehistoric village ruins. These ruins are from approximately 5000 years ago, and the Jomon Jiyukan houses around 1700 artifacts found on the site. You can join in on museum tours (held twice a month) to further understand life during the prehistoric Jomon era. There are even events where you can experience creating Jomon era style bags and clay statues.
