The Sapporo TV Tower locates on the eastern end of Odori Park in Sapporo, Hokkaido. It was built in 1957 as a TV tower, and has since then provided for the people of Sapporo. From the observation deck, locating 90 meters above the ground, you can get a great view of Sapporo’s city center and the Ishikari Plain. In the spring, you can see the cherry blossoms and tulips blossoming beneath you at Odori Park. At the food court located on the basement floor, you can try out Hokkaido specialties such as zangi, or fried chicken. At night, the TV Tower lights up and is beautiful from inside or out. The 147 meter tower can be seen from several parts of the city.
