Drift Ice Walking

Drift Ice Walking can be experienced in two of Hokkaido’s northern cities, Abashiri and Shiretoko. The drift ice comes from the Okhotsk Sea’s Siberian coast.
During the tour, you will be in a dry suit that will keep you dry, warm and insulated. This will allow you to sit and roll on the drift ice. If you are lucky, you might be able to see seals, eagles, cliones and more.
