Fukuroda Falls

Fukuroda Falls is a massive waterfall located in Ibaraki prefecture. During autumn, the waterfall and the colored leaves surrounding it create a picturesque view, and in the winter the falls completely freeze for a phenomenon called "hyobaku" (氷瀑; frozen waterfall). The observation decks are constructed for the best views of the falls.
