"Dogashima Hot Spring" is one of the "Hakone Nanayu" in Hakone-machi, Kanagawa Prefecture. Dogashima Hot Spring is located at the bottom of the Hayakawa Valley. The location of the hot spring allows visitors to enjoy a "hidden" bath. "The hot spring has a long history, and it is said that about 700 years ago, the Rinjo sect monk Muso Kokushi founded the hot spring.The spring quality is sodium chloride. It has therapeutic effects on neuralgia, muscle aches and poor circulation. Although there were five hot spring inns during the Edo period, currently, none of them offer Dogashima Hot Springs. However, two are planned to reopen after its reconstruction, so please visit these inns when you have the chance!
