Mashu Onsen
Mashu Onsen
Mashu Onsen Hot Springs is the oldest hot spring in eastern Hokkaido, and is located in the town of Teshikaga. There were once two hot springs in Teshikaga – Teshikaga Onsen and Tobetsu Onsen. In 1981, the two combined to create Mashu Onsen. Throughout the onsen town, there are many accommodation sites ranging in size. At the nearby road station, Michi-no-eki Mashu, you can enjoy a footbath. Near Mashu Onsen, there is a national park where you can enjoy Hokkaido’s vast nature. The various sites in the area allow you to enjoy nature and have a fun day out.
