Koka Ninja Village Koka Ninja Village is a ninja theme park located in the southern area of Shiga prefecture. The theme park is surrounded by a forest, and feels like a real ninja hideout. The theme park has a museum with over 1,400 ninja-related documents. Inside are also real ninja items that were once in use. At the Ninjutsu Dojo, you can go through 9 different types of ninja training, such as floating and climbing. You can experience the training in ninja gear, which you can rent out at the facility. After completing all 9, you can receive a scroll certificate of completion.
Koka Ninja House The Koka Ninja House locates in the southern area of Shiga prefecture. The house was built in the beginning of the Edo period (1603 – 1867) by Mochizuki Izumonokami, the head of the Koka ninja clan. This is the only remaining ninja clan house in Japan. In the house, you can learn about the history of the Koka ninjas, and also have interactive experiences with real ninja items. The house too is filled with traps and gimmicks, and you can learn the mechanism behind them. There are also ninja star throwing experiences for the full ninja experience. The Koka Ninja House also provides herbal drinks that were consumed by ninjas centuries ago.
